Fr. Rosensteel Council Trustees' Meetings
Each Knights of Columbus council annually elects three Trustees as part of
their slates of officers. They are traditionally the three most recent
Past Grand Knights
of the council, but that is not a requirement of office. The three Trustees
and the Grand Knight make up the Board of Trustees, who as a body have
supervision of all financial business of the council. Under the
chairmanship of the Grand Knight, they meet monthly on
the last Monday to review council expenses, receive reports from the Treasurer
and Financial Secretary, and conduct any other business related to council
finances. They also meet every January and July to audit the books of the
council, Clubhouse Association,
Building Company, Retired Men's
Club, Maryknights, and Bingo committee.
All of these meetings are open for observation by all members, but only the
Board of Trustees and such persons as they request information from participate
in the discussions.
