Any practical Catholic man in communion with the Holy See who has attained
his eighteenth birthday is eligible for membership in the Knights of Columbus.
A practical Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and
the Precepts of the Church. The membership process begins with an
application form (Form 100). Here's how to get one.
We ask that only those persons who
qualify for membership in the Knights of Columbus, Council 2169, submit
the form below. Our members generally come from the
lower part of Montgomery County, Maryland, although we do have some members
scattered around the rest of the country. As new members must come
to the Council home to participate in an initiation ceremony at some point,
anyone wishing to join will probably be relatively close to the Silver
Spring area.
If you are interested in becoming a Knight of Columbus
and are not in our area, you should easily be able to find a Council in your
area as there are over 11000 Councils in the Order.
Try to contact any KC member in your parish for an
application (Form 100).
If your browser does not support forms or if you just desire more information
or help in contacting a Council
nearer to you, feel free to contact
Floyd Jarboe, Grand Knight,
John A. Fox, PGK, Membership
Chairman, or
Chancellor Dan Ward, Recruiting Chairman.
If you live in Silver Spring or the surrounding
area, please submit the form below and someone from
Fr. Rosensteel Council will be happy to contact you.
Please remember that information transmitted across the internet may not
be secure. Any information submitted by an applicant is done so on a
voluntary basis. Applicants can expect to be contacted within ten business
days of the receipt of this e-mail.
Submission of this information does not constitute a formal application to
the Knights of Columbus or Council 2169. An application (Form 100) will be
required of all candidates before they may be considered for membership.
