Admissions Meetings
The second step towards joining the Knights of Columbus
(the
first is to sign an application Form 100) is an interview by the
Council
Admissions Committee. Each applicant for new membership must present
himself
at an admissions meeting for such an interview. After the applicant has
satisfied the Admissions Committee of his eligibility to join, his
application
will be presented at the next regular Council meeting for voting on by
the membership. After favorable vote of the membership, the applicant
is
then eligible to participate in the First Degree of the Order and
become
a member.
The Fr. Rosensteel Admissions Committee interviews
applicants
on the second Tuesday of each month starting at 8:00 pm. It is not
required,
but the applicant may feel more comfortable if his sponsor escorts him
to the meeting. Sponsors are urged to stay involved with their
applicants
throughout the admissions procedure and all Degree
ceremonies.
